Change the font to something easier to read.

get rid of the table tag at the bottom and replace with the div tags you use on everything else.

I dont like the background. I say stick with white and add different shades of gray/black for background on the text and pictures.

when i opened it the 33 went over the tree's and made it unreadable. should always design for a smaller website then the biggest resolutions, just in case.

i do all my editing in TextPad, but used PageMason about a year ago to setup things, and slowly moving things over to tables and such instead of the editor <p> tags.

I cannot really help screens that are smaller than 1024x768, I can make the font at the top a little smaller to help and justify the text and the menu to the right.

White and black are two drab. I am changing th background to reflect the color it should be on my primary monitor and not use the secondary monitor since its color is a lot different. On the secondary monitor the color is a real nice beige neutral, but the screenshot that someone sent shows the same color as my main monitor, so I will adjust with that.

The text is now justified.

for a custom wood working company, the website just doesn't reflect that
i'd give it a different design, perhaps more professional looking with a design that shows ur creativity a bit.

perhaps something along the line of this
http://www.artfurniturebydesign.com/

it's not entirely too far off from what you have right now, but far less wordy and it showcases the work more (which is what your customers will more interested in seeing)
I understand that you have a fotoplayer gallery, but as far as my experience goes in web design, if it takes people more than a few seconds to nagivate through to find something. They'll most likely give up before getting there.

I do like your personal writing. It shows that you guys are approachable and real, unlike a standard corporation.

I think all good points, so let me respond to them.

I am really good at functionaity for things, I am a very mechanical, process based person. I do not have the graphic skills in Gimp or Photoshop to make the site look like the one you sent. My fiancé does, but she has a lot on her plate right now and no time to help.

When she does have time she will be making a custom header and graphic buttons for navigation, so that will help clean it up a lot.

The reason i went with JAlbum to do my photos was because I don't have time to custom code something to give me the same functionality that I can get out of the box. The album is skinable, but I have had good luck with this one and will continue to use it until I can write something that is really clean and integrates easily into the site.

Took the site down to a very basic design until I can figure out what I am going to do with the graphics. They weren't doing some of the things I thought they would so I am just going to take it down to the bare bones till I have time to do something, or Stace does.
