to me, it just looks like the right side is missing a cover piece that the left side has, probably used to prevent the bolt from rusting or something of that nature.

maybe it got knocked off?

 

u should get an xacto knife and cut out the lil holes in that fake black mesh grill part.

Sway bar end links. They should look similar and could be covered under warranty. It's defective if there is excessive articulation and movement in the bar. (usually accompanied by the bar "clunking" under load. or by the end link binding, but that's a rarity)

 

I have to bring it in to see if it would be under warranty. Knowing a stealership though it won't be
