Default What's this? (Car part question)

So I got my tires changed the other day...FINALLY! And while the car was on the lift I noticed these two did not look the same.

Any ideas? It looks to be connected to a suspension bar. Think this would be covered under warranty?

duh thats inside the car - obviously that is part of the gulwing control arm

is it broken? i cant tell from the pics, i know ive seen different looking sway bar links before. also you could always call to see if its covered or see if there was ever a recall for them.
