do you know why germany is a haven for sleeper cells?

can you please answer these questions for me so i can gauge exactly how much you know about politics, and what side you really stand for. you can ask questions of me, ill answer.

No...but interseting. To take a stab at it I would say because they are liberal and open...atleast to my own observations having been there many times.

An ultra-conservative, has his own radio talk show, Republican...a good man.

The Civil War was about States rights. There are many reasons but if you do not agree with me that is fine we can debate it all day I know far too much about the Civil War.

The government controls all aspects of life...Who has the authority to do this and suspend the constitution in the US? Who gives them that authority?

Irish and Polish...why does this matter?

why do you read liberal biased papers? i mean i can understand to a certain degree, but you should also balance it out. so are you sure fox puts enough balance to your news sources?

think about that question for a minute. what nationality are you? without suffixes, what am i asking? what nation are you? you linked nation-ality with where your ancestors are, giving their state/country. this is an example of how liberals, mainly liberal teachers in social studies class, have skewed or spun the actual meaning of "what nationality are you?" im american because i was born in america, even though my ancestors are from the bent grass country of England and northwestern Poland.

No, I was born in Salem, MA. Intersting point on the nationality thing though...but yes my ancestory is Irish and Polish.

Unfortunately I feel all media is liberal, I do like to watch the Oreilly factor and Hanity and Colms though as well as Hardball...although Chris Matthews is a Democrat. I have read both books from Bill and Chris as well as a couple from the late Barbara Olsen. Barbara was one of the cheif prosecutors in the Clinton Whitewater investigations if you did not know...she was on the plane that hit the Pentagon.

I listen to Rush when I can...although it is not often I must say since I do not get his program where I live.

Why are there so many sleeper cells in Germany? I am quite interested in this one!

 

to start off with, germany is a socialist state. because of hitler, certain politico's in germany have fought against inter-communication b/w government organization. they did this a couple decades ago, fighting tooth and nail for this cause. and it payed off. the irs can not exchange information with any criminal govn't organizations, welfare cannot communicate with the irs, so on and so on. what this has caused is a communication breach b/w the organizations/factions of the government and allow criminals/leaches to fall in the cracks. since their irs can not exchange information with the welfare program, people can work a 9-5 job, while still collecting unemployment or food stamps. germany also has organizations similiar to the fbi, cia, dea, and immigration, but none of them are allowed to communicate b/w each other. so the fbi is tracking said terrorist while he goes to x to meet with head terrorist, when he heads back home (germany) the fbi isnt allowed to notify immigration and warn them he had just traveled to x and met with head terrorist. because of all of these communication break downs, sleeper cells for terrorist organizations have found themselves a haven.

sidenote:let it be known the democrats fought tooth and nail for the same thing, and achieved similiar goals. democrats are the ones responsible for the breakdown on communication b/w the cia, ins, and fbi which led to sept. 11th.

McCarthyism was many things but the basics of it was that it was a witch hunt for any member of "the red menace" (communism) and a way for the government to freely move about and monitor all it deemed neccesary without having to answer for its actions....kinda like whats happening now don't ya think?

Socialism is a collective government that stresses stresses equal growth amongst all people and is in some ways basically equated with a communist society (i.e. all are equal and gain equally regardless of output)

I do not understand the reasoning behind this question nor its relevance in any discussion I have had with you or any member of this board.

Generally my news source has been the BBC and other foreign news sources since US based writing tends to be extremely biased and is nothing short of irresponsible journalism.

Rush Limbaugh....hahaha don't make me laugh he is nothing more than a political puppet with nothing new nor original to say. Basically he recaps all that the state department would like to be said or heard....a general waste of my time.

The Civil War was basically a war regarding the maintenence of wealth among plantation owners who believed strongly in slavery. In abolishing slavery the economic standings of these people were put in jepordy because they would then have to pay those that provided free labor for them which would in turn cut into their profit margin and their power in the US would be diminished.

Totalitarian government is one that has total control of all aspects of life within its borders. Generally viewed as an "Iron Fisted" government with no responsibility to account for its actions in any way, shape or form.

My nationality is American but my heritage is Irish, Scot, American Indian, and Italian......what this has to do with anything I don't understand but whatever.

As for why my views are how they are is simple. My parents spent 15 years in the CIA in various capacities. The things I have read and learned both overseas and in the states gives me a different view of how things really are and not just the "American" view.

I spent 3 years in Pakistan, 2 in Afghanistan, 6 months in Japan and China, 8 months on the continent of Africa and various other countries around the world....my view is different and I tend to read between the lines of many printed articles. Call me a conspiritorialist if you like but I have my views and I see things how I see things.

Thanks for the questions beause they made me do some research in order to make sure I had the corret ideas about each of these items and from what I see I have been fairly accurate in my use of each of the terms and questions posed to me.

 

It's funny. If you really listen to the news, American news in particular, you can pick out ambiguities in some of what they say. If you know the other side of the story these ambiguities stick out like a sore thumb. While they don't just straight lie about it they bend the truth as to paint a completely different picture than what's really going on. This goes for either side. The news is run by people, and people like to exagerate.

 

I really don't see the point of quizzing people on the internet. Even if you are a complete idiot you can answer these american history 101 questions with google and webster at your fingertips. You could at least ask a deductive rather than factual question like:

Why would adding the Balkans to the EMU be beneficial to the Balkans, and Europe in general?

You can answer that if you like.

Given that I'm in the middle of 400 level international relations and diplomacy courses, I think I am aware enough of these issues to give my opinion. Not like it matters, because none of us are on CNN or members of a think tank. Its a fucking car forum.

Secondly, I'm wondering how long it is going to take you to get off of your high horse. You'll notice that people here are making the same complaints that they did in Engine Tech...

 

thats funny you say that because you made a mistake on one of your questions. why do you have to set yourself up?

just to let you know, before i give you the answer you missed, i asked these questions to set you up for a fall.

the civil war was not about slavery at all, at all. repeat that-at all! it was about the north becoming upset because the south wanted to seperate from the union. yankees did not want this because they felt it would make them succeptible to british invasion, so they fought the south. even further, the south had the constitutional right to do what they tried, and it was the north that broke constitutional law by going to war with the south.

and to elaborate on your free the slaves bs...lincoln (R) didnt want to free all the slaves after the north had won. he wanted to slowly deport blacks back to africa. but one of his cabinet members told persons that all slaves would be freed. once this found its way to the press, lincoln could do nothing. so what happened to the south after that? it was ruined. yankees promised negroes 40 acres and a mule, but for what? did they know how to run a plantation, or just work it? so what happened mr. he thinks he knows it all? the economy slumped because farming had been crippled. the stupid yankees forced government interaction onto the free enterprise system, essentially throwing a stick in the spokes of capitalism.

im done with this. the only thing you know about history is what your liberal teacher taught you in public school from his agenda.
