I had to go get a Reuben for lunch today. hfawk:

It's huge though...so I'm eating half now, half in a couple of hours.

Thats almost like a 'Rachel'. A Rachel is a Reuben but with pastrami for corned beef and coleslaw for sauerkraut.

Don't listen to these jokers, OLDMAN. Quality comes at a price, and it takes a real deli (or an experienced sandwichmaster, which I am not) to get it perfect. There are a lot of sandwich joints in this town, and the going rate for a good one-person, one-sitting sandwich is somewhere between eight and ten dollars

8 bucks for a sandwich is about normal around here.

although, i've yet to have a rueben from a deli / sandwich place that i enjoy more than the ones i make
