Sure there are tolerant muslims, but leadership of Muslim countries such as Egypt, Syria, Iran and Iraq have broad anti-Western and anti-Semetic views. They instill anger and violence into their kids to fight for those views like the US does with its military personnel to fight 'terrorism'. Neither side is 100% correct and these issues will never EVER end.

I am not religious, I am spiritual, I do read the bible and I do (try) to follow the teaching of Christianity, but I am not a "Christian" as some would say. I know this doesn't make sense to most of you...lol We as a society have this perception and false sense of "knowing" things by labeling them. With this learned perception and labeling we limit ourselves and cut ourselves off from ourselves(yes that is exactly what I meant to type). We identify with labels and by doing so create a defined identity. When you do this and something or someone says or does something that goes against the definition of the identity, we are wrong and feel the need to prove ourselves right. This is where fights, wars, racism, hate, anger, evil, etc... are born. Even knowing this I fall victim to the perception. This is where Christianity teaches no one is holy or righteous, because no one is free of their learned perception identity. If you were free from identity you'd never feel the need to fight with people or change their views because their opinion would not change/challenge/find flaws in your perception identity. Without identity we are perfect, without labels such as good/bad, everything is as it is and should be. Without identity and labels we are divine. Life is simple...Live.

 

I fully agree... nether side is 100% correct and this problem will never go away. and those countries you named have alot of anti-western people. But that doesn't mean all muslims are like that. tonnes of Muslim countries live in peace and deal with the western world. Lots of muslims are tolerant. And yes they will take the side of the muslims that are dying... not because they are dying but because the forces used uppon muslims in this world is compleatly disproportionned (is that a word?).

12 mortars, and 1 death...doesn't matter. The potential threat and loss was too high to Israel, they saw a threat and wanted to neutralize it. They chose an extreme way(most would consider their peoples persecution extreme as well), but their people have been persecuted for most of time, excuse them for being on the defensive. 2 wrongs don't make a right but it can make it even.
