3 wep or wpa...your choice
4 you'll have to reconfigure the ps3 to connect w/ the new name / wep key / etc
5 it's in the wireless settings...basically, it makes it so you have to KNOW the name of the wireless router...i don't do this b/c i have many people accessing my router and don't keep secure shit easily accessible on my network. You should also disable wireless access to the admin panel...that's in there somewhere too.
No. To change the login name, its under administration and username(At least on mine)
When you change the router name, its just what the router comes up saying its name as, not what you log into the router settings as.

Sounds like you needed to go into your network favorites, delete it. And then view wireless networks, connect to it with the new settings, and make sure it's back on the top of your favs.

That's what i had to do when i changed network settings.

Ok, so I finally got everything on my home network reconfigured and it all seems to be working like a charm. I ended up switching to WPA from WEP. Thanks again for all the help guys.
