Wi-Fi crew v. losing my connection
Sometimes I can't help it...it restarts behind my back.

I think they were just trying to help me change the Administrative password. :dunno:
That definetly sounds like it needs to be reset. There should just be a little hole on the back that you can hold a paper clip in for around 10 seconds till all the lights start to blink. That will probably be the only fix.
Yeah, I was afraid it may be a firmware upgrade... I forgot to add in that if he has PPPOE DSL... I hope he remembers his user ID and password for it.... otherwise - oops.
So I reset my wireless router and restarted my computer....things seem to be going ok but the signal strength sucks. I mean, it's no different than it was when I first set it up months ago but how can I improve the signal? I'm maybe 30 feet away in my living room and it's only like 25% strength at best.
How do I upgrade it? I can't seem to find where to do that. :hsdunno:

It's a linksys WRT54G2 (the non-antenna style). and We have a cordless phone on a 2.4GHZ frequency as well so that might be causing some interference...?
I typed in my IP and it brought up a login for my username and password. My username and/or password doesn't seem to be working now. :a:
