It's irritating when I see people in other depts not putting in the overtime that we're supposed to put in...but it's better than not having a job.

We'll see. My old boss works for a company that manages golf courses all over the country. There's a potential opening at another course, which would be a huge increase over what I make now. He's going to try and get me in the door since he has some pull, and put in a few good words for me.

i get 2x pay for ot right now, but am considering going for a position that pays an automatic 25% on top of my salary to cover OT.. so i dunno which is better :dunno:

Nice, 2x is pretty good...most places are 1.5x. I don't think I'll get this job if it opens, but it would be sweet if I did...he said possibly almost double what I make right now.
