That's why we have flash lights. But the main reason I wouldn't put a light on a gun is if you go into a dark area...what's the bad guy going to shoot at? With a flash light...you can hold it away from you body and if they shoot at the light, chances are they're going to miss.

Try shooting a pump shotgun with a handheld light.

+1 You don't need it on all the time. But when you do activate it, it's a weapon on its own due to the high intensity light. Temporarily blinds your target.

Well if I'm going into a dark building...chances are I'm not going to take a shotgun. And I'll have backup going in with me...so if I did have a shotgun, I'd have them near me holding a light.
I'm looking at buying a 9mm Berretta 92FS Inox. I've found one at a decent price, but would like to know what to look for on the gun(ie typical problems, wear indication areas, etc) The gun looks to be in great shape physically, but I'm looking for items that might be hidden.
