I guess I was just shocked at how many guns were sold and ammo was missing. Nearly every shelf had "OUT OF STOCK" post it notes stuck to them.
They usually have 150-200 handguns in the case for sale. There was seriously 6 at Bass Pro Shops. And they were all $700+.

 

The way you worded your first post made you sound as though you were poking fun at people who see trouble on the horizon and are taking steps to protect and prepare for such eventualities.

Not calling you stupid exactly but people usually make fun of things they do not understand.

Yeah, I didn't mean to come off that way. I have nothing wrong with buying ammo and guns and what not, but for everyone to freak out as soon as the new president is elected is pretty stupid. I was pissed I couldn't find a decent 9mm to buy myself for my bday. And I had to pay >$40 for 40 rounds for my 30-30. :-/

 

What do you expect? We've got the possibility of a filibuster proof congress and, possibly, the most anti-gun President, Vice President and Attorney General.

There are 2 or 3 more handguns I want to buy. After that, I'm buying ammo and a few rifles that should be safe from any possible new bans.
