it will also lower crime in some area's too. and the tax dollars the state spends on police for investigation into illegal prostitution, beatings and such can be spent other places.

all this does is tell city cops they cant arrest people for it within their jurisdiction
I'm in agreement with Jesse on this one. If you are going to legalize prostitution do it right. Centralize it in an area, provide specific provisions in accordance with the profession and provide a way to protect the prostitutes. This will just be a set up for abuse like Jesse says.
