hehe no its not really them its me, I have realized that I get bored with things quickly and I just figured something like that would keep me focused, just like football kept me focused in High school

I hardly think the Marines will keep you focused during college. If anything I see it as a lifelong distraction.

i can see where you are coming from, I guess im really just looking for something to keep me going ya know? I started a training program... that lasted for a week before I just wasn't motivated anymore. Im just so afraid the same thing is going to happen with the engineering thing

Well do the training program, do the intramural's, join clubs? There's all that college life that you may not be living up because you are having an impact somewhere. Just because you are in the Marines doesn't mean you will have an impact in anything. If you are looking for that "great" situation in life, how about choose some kind of cause and work positively for it.
