lol, but what about like the reserves, which would mean i would still get my schooling but I also get the money, and if it isn't for me then I always have something to fall back on either way...

As a reserve they could still send you away and then put your schooling on hold. Get your degree first and become an Officer and put little bitches in their place
see that is the same thing the rents said, I was just thinking though if it does turn out that i hate it or something, then i would have alot less time I have to be active if I sign up right now because of schooling.

yeah I thought about that too but I guess I can do a delayed entry program which means for the next 3 summers I go through training and they cant deploy untill you are fully trained so I guess that atleast promises me my junior year completed

What less time are you talking about? Finish school or else you'll never get it done. Plenty of people say they'd go back to school but only a small percentage really do. Getting a degree is an accomplishment, becoming a marine is something many people can do, getting an engineering degree is only what a few can do.
with an engineering degree you can do ANYTHING. Listen to your parents.
well yeah I do agree with that but I do have a hard time staying focused on things and I figured at least the Marines would help me keep focused on what I have to do to graduate

Well the less time is my contract. if I sign its for 6 years active and 2 inactive, as soon as I go to basic in the summer my active duty starts so that eats away almost 3 years of my active duty.
