Really quick question: how many times have you seen (specifically seen - not just heard through a story) a person with a CCW use it?
Ex: in bank robbery cases where there are camera's everywhere.
I hear all this talk of people wanting CCW's to use them in times of need but you never hear of them actually using it to save the day or someone in need. At least I dont.
Maybe in Point Break in the bank...wait...that was undercover, my bad.

I know a person personally who was approached by 3 guys at a gas station and had full intentions of taking what they could from him and just pulling the gun stopped them.
I also know a person who has a good friend who the same scenario happened to.
I didn't see this with my own eyes so I suppose it doesn't count.

And the places where CCWs are issued more often, you dont see them because criminals know people carry, so there is less crime. Wait...what?
