I agree with most of what you say...but that last part was just too much of an exaggeration. If it really was like that...the 5 page thread on your HAN resume would have been locked long ago. But, in the end, like Anthony said...the mods guide the direction of the site based on the members. If the direction isnt where you want to go, talk to someone who can make a difference. Being a 10/8/08 rebel ( :reechy: ) isnt going to accomplish anything....
There are a lot of basement moderators and not all of them are on the same page. Some choose to be on a different page but most try to do their job. There is (how do I put this) slight checks and balances for mods that go overboard and mods that let things go.
From what I'm reading in all his posts recently, yes. Uncalled for, maybe, but necessary to point out, yes.

From what I've been told last, it's not going to change but moreso go away.

I'm watching members take pot shots at moderators.

Just because you make a suggestion doesn't mean we're going to just jump to it and do it. We're welcoming SUGGESTIONS. The team of admins and moderators need to weigh in the pro's and con's.

so if it is not hard, why wouldn't you just make it happen to make the fs forum flow better? what con is there to having a good seperation of wants and for sales?

It's been brought to my attention that threads (in my eyes) that were closed and I feel there was no reason for them to be closed. That has been addressed.
