It's only RO, but it puts out completely pure H20 at 0tds. You won't find a DI unit that gets you any less than ... 0 total dissolved solids.
But if you're completely anal, there's di add on canisters for like $40.

The Petco's in LI (usually) sell the Real Ocean water. Some people I know just use that, but you're going to need a few cases-- you probably need like 7 to be safe. They're 5 gallons a box and not the easiest to lug around.

i was blessed when i set mine up that i bought some fuji live rock that had just came out of the ocean holding tank 1-2 days before so it still had the majority of the life still on it & very little die-off, so my tank cycled in just 3-4 days
started w/ a few pieces of live rock to get it started like chris:
then a few days later, added the other rocks w/ all the life already on them:
then, a few weeks later, the tank was stable, so i added my 1st coral
