Exactly. So by saying he could do it in one afternoon, he could travel there and it may take him 42 minutes or a few hours or whatever, but to the rest of us, no time will have passed at all. So theoreticly he could go there, spend some time and come back and the only time that will have passed for us in comparison to him will be whatever time he chooses to spend on Mars. So technically, he could do it in an afternoon
it's the contrary... it would seam to the traveler that it took seconds/minute but to us hours. I dont understand this shit and it's way above my head too but that is what i have read

Wrong way around. Time for him would go slower, so that less time would pass for him. We would observe him travelling for 42 minutes, chilling wherever, then travelling back, when he would only observe a fraction of that time at near light speed (it would seem like 3 minutes to him, or something like that)
actually, you wouldnt want to travel the speed of light to such close destinations as mars and earth. in theory the amount of time it will take to build up and slow down you will have already passed your destination.

I think it works the other way around... he goes off to mars and he sits on his spaceship for 42 minutes, faps on mars, and comes back. Meanwhile, were sitting here on earth going "wtf, this chronic masturbator has been gone for a week?!?!"
