they are trying to do something which they never did/seen before and want to make calculations on what happens afterwards. whatever happens, for us to use this in our day to day living seems pretty gloomy.

Yeah you guys are right, I had it backwards. But still, it's a pretty awesome theory h:
So you're saying that if he were to observe us while traveling at near light speed, we would be moving extremely slow even if for us we were sprinting as fast as we could.
I always thought that the faster you traveled, the slower time was for you so that if you were able to travel faster than the speed of light you would be able to reverse time.
