Not voting for a president because there is not one person that shares the same views as I do on issues that are important to me.

I do see your point. You've got a good job, school, a womens, a roof over your head. Life is pretty good.

But I am not giving you shit, bro. I just think you should at least learn about what's going on in the country, because you as individuals have the power to choose the leader of this nation.

I care because I am an immigrant who came here in search of a better life, and it's people like you that have it, who take it for granted.

And don't get your panties in a bunch because I am asking questions. I came here to learn, not start shit.
so you're a fob? well now that you posted what you said, i may vote this year, on your behalf. if you could vote, who would you vote for

I'm getting a lot of "neither share the same views as you"

Does that mean the candidates' selling points don't agree with you personally, or they just don't benefit you as a person?

I dunno I am probably reading the posts wrong, but it seems like nobody wants to have a voice because it's always gonna be the same.

But it's gonna be the same unless you guys do something about it :dunno:

Craig's right though, he doesn't vote, so he doesn't complain. Probably pretty smart.

edit: But I like getting involved in the community -- that's just me. I enjoy helping others, and making positive changes. I care about people, their children, my children, etc.

Im not mad at you Dom. Im just defending my position on where I stand and how I perceived you telling me that I "should" vote. Just because I "can" do something doesnt mean I have to.

Id be a hypocrite if I complained about things and not voted but Ive covered that.

Not voting for the main parties, if at all.

I'll probably procrastinate and forget to vote, but if I do actually go it'll be for a third party. I'm sick of this system of "you can choose this guy OR this guy and that's it" I want to have real options.

I need to register before I can vote...
x2 on the uneducated vote. When I get a little older I'll pay more attention to politics.
