I dont have a stance on the issue just because I dont know too much about trans fat and its uses. And I do think it goes beyond the issue of the government stepping in "telling us what we can or cannot do" with our bodies.

true, but at the same time it's the cheapest to buy unhealthy food in bulk from the store. These foods contain trans fats. If you are dirt poor and your only option is to buy the cheapest food available you are pretty much stuck with trans fats.

Shit, I agree with both sides of this argument.

If you buy packaged foods this is true but if you prepare your own foods then this is untrue

Which costs more money, and takes more time.

The price of trans fat free foods will increase, due to increased demand.

Did you not read my earlier post about how people adapt to different situations? this would be the same where people would maybe have to prepare a certain amount of their foods earlier in the week or on the weekend according to useage.

I know I will sometimes begin steaks, fish or chicken the night before by seasoning them or letting them marinate then it only takes minutes to actually cook them. toss in a side dish such as rice, beans, salad etc. which can all be prepped in advance and warmed later if need be or stuck in the fridge until use.

Excuses abound and you can always find an excuse not to do something, but in the end the solution is sometimes easier than coming up with an excuse.

Do you really think the majority of Americans, especially in the lower class, are going to cook and prepare food like you do? I think not.

Not my fucking problem...again you are making excuses for their laziness instead of holding them to answer for the end result of their laziness.

I'm not making excuses for anybody, just telling how it is in the real world.
