In all honestly, I know someone who changed their Civic's oil every 7,000 miles (according to the owner's guide), the engine locked at 64K :lmao:

 

I dislike the ones that tell the same frigging story 10 times!

We have a guy at work that tells everyone the same "wing over" incident he had when he was flying a single engine light weight plane over and over again.

There is a guy here that does that. The bad thing is is that he knows so many people and when he says he is going to get something done, he gets it done. ie getting huge stuff donated.

Earlier today a coworker said that she was leaving for lunch with a friend who is donating a kidney tomorrow. His response: "Oh thats cool. I had to donate bone marrow before...." and goes off for 5 minutes on that.

 

i've always changed my oil somewhere between 5K and 10K and never had any problems.

 

I feel guilty for having this type of attitude
