There is a guy here that does that. The bad thing is is that he knows so many people and when he says he is going to get something done, he gets it done. ie getting huge stuff donated.

Earlier today a coworker said that she was leaving for lunch with a friend who is donating a kidney tomorrow. His response: "Oh thats cool. I had to donate bone marrow before...." and goes off for 5 minutes on that.
