I can't stand baseball as a spectator sport too boring. But then I don't find most sports worth watching. Just not a sports fan. I'll watch the last period of a hockey game, or the last quarter of a basketball game that's about it.

when the pitcher throw a fastball at 102mph and u see the guy swing at the ball like 2 seconds after the ball has been in the catchers glove.. now thats fun.

did u know it is harder to hit a softball than a baseball, and the softball is coming at u much harder. sportscience channel

Guillen is the MAN.. he can kick anyones ass anytime. he is blunt... talking about baseball I was watching a cops show on spike and they got la russa drunk driving... it was funny.

playing it before gives you more appreciation. memories of my childhood of watching the a's and giant's play with my dad and friends = priceless. the feel of going to a stadium and watching a game live is awesome.
like most sports its 50x better live, but having a appreciation of it helps when watching it even on tv

Soccer is two 45 minute halfs. with a 15 minute half time.
football is 15 minute quarters, 1 hour of play that could last 3+ hours because they show the game in 30-40 second bursts between 3-4 minute commercial breaks (not to mention tv-timeouts).
anyway its a matter of opinion :shrug:
