Typical football games take longer than soccer matches :hsdunno:
Soccer is two 45 minute halfs. with a 15 minute half time.
football is 15 minute quarters, 1 hour of play that could last 3+ hours because they show the game in 30-40 second bursts between 3-4 minute commercial breaks (not to mention tv-timeouts).
