Default iPhone v.unlocked

So, who has one? Anyone unlocked and used for long periods of time?

Two of my friends are in the states f/ Germany and I unlocked & jailbroke their 16GB iphone last night. Actually was really easy. Used iLiberty+

Anyone here done it and used for a long period of time? Not sure if this is TOS issue or not.....if so, please delete.

I'm debating getting one now. I really liked the feel of the phone and the features.

i've been using my ihpone for more the 6 months now and it works great. I love it and never had any problem with it since i unlocked it. it's easy to unlock now BTW.

I even upgrade it every other month just so i can use the new features and i love the 3rd party applications.

If you're not in a hurry there are rumours of a 3G iphone coming out soon so you can profit of a price cut or even get the 3G one. only rumours though.

good to hear. Yeah, $4-500 is a lil steep. At $300 I might go for it though. No rush.

The way I see it, you own the iPod. Can't really bust you for modifying something you own.

Now, if there are links posted here to pirated software sites / illegal torrents, then it's a no go.

cool, that's what I thought. yeah, the jailbreak iteslf is basically a bootloader that modifies the OS. IMHO, it is no different than reformatting a computer or modifying a PSP.
