good point on the battery but i dont think it will ever be to the point where we use batteries in all electricity consuming appliances. I would love to be able to not have any wires, TV, lamps, vcr everything...

Had read about him many years ago and knew he was working on some cool stuff including wireless electricity transmission. The interweb was not around at that point
