women at the office take time off more than men?

I don't understand why people think time away from work is a bad thing. Do you really think your bosses look down on you or think less of you for taking a week off once every few months? If you want to be completely defined by your job, then congrats. You've got nothing else going for you.

I take my time off as much as I can because my project due dates are never set in stone... I try to leave the state too that way they can't call me back in h:

I struggle to take all my time off, but I've got a month worth of vacation to use every year and can only carry over 5 days.

My PTO accrues every year that I dont use all the way up to 300 hours. Im at 110 not including the (8) paid holidays each year. Not in a bad spot.

i just put in for some leave time... i have accrued way too much and need to start using it before they take it away... as it stands, i could take like 5 weeks off and have the same amount of sick time.....

No shit. I feel no sorrow for people that take time off to take care of their damn kids all the time. Once in a while for emergencies, ok, but people abuse the shit out of that excuse. Dont bring your personal life to work.

Maternity leave is different though
