women at the office take time off more than men?
At my job it's ok for the women to take off for the kids

as soon as i tell them the same thing im givin a hard time
(i take the time off when the kids are sick cause my wife is the bread winner)
yea i know
i took three weeks when my son was born
I don't know about women taking more time off at the office, right now my wife has about 360 hours of accumulated time off not counting her sick time. She's going to have to start taking vacation days just so she doesn't start losing it. She has had to take time off because of me in the past, when I had my transplant she took six weeks off (family medical) that was paid, and then took a couple of more weeks off when I had my bypass, and that too was family medical leave, none of which came out of her vacation leave.
BTW she's the executive assistant to an associate vice president at the UofM.

I take vacation days regularly to go snowboarding... probably one day every one or two weeks. But I also work on the weekends pretty frequently. I have also taken a day off "just for the hell of it" or to go swimming on a warm summer day or to work on my car or whatever
