I'd call them and have them put a note on your claim to let know it is an intermittent problem. That way, even if it works fine for them, they will still fix it.

I sent my first one in that had a production date of '06 or something, and when I received the new one on like 11-3-07, the production date was 10-28-07. They sent me a brand new unit.

 

completely OT, but if anyone needs a new set of 360 components or VGA cables, they're $9 at Toys R Us on clearance.

 

sent ours out earlier it march and got a different one back in 3 weeks

 

i got my same unit back from them.

 

well i got an email from microsoft saying that they got my console on april 22nd.

i got another email this morning, april 24th, saying that they have shipped it out.

i check the tracking number and it says it was shipped on the 23rd.

does this seem like a really really short turn around time?

 

They probly sent you a refurb.
