NPR this morning was saying the columbian army went after some high priority target in Ecuador (not venezuela) and that the US has shown "disapproval" but that was early reporting so who knows on the details.

4th largest yes but not to the whole us. venezuelas 4th largest customer is exxon. but for exxon its about 5% or less so venezuela is not that big of a supplier of oil to us
