I got two tattoos and they are average quality at best. I need to go get them redone, but too lazy, been ten years. h:

Look at work people have on them and ask who did what piece and if they would reccomend them. This is the biggest consideration right there.

Pictures are just that and don't tell the whole story so talk to people wearing their work. I have a couple pieces on me by an artist that I would not recomend to anyone although the work is good.

word. good point. btw how long does it take for that part of my skin to heal or go back to normal? i heard that mess stays super sensitive for a while...?

personal experience by someone else is big. i always get asked who did mine, and i'd recommend my guy in a heartbeat.

different for lots of people

i know people who were fine within a couple days and people it took weeks before it wasnt sore to the touch.

some areas of the body are more sensitive than others too

and you gotta keep it outta the sun (or covered with spf 30) if you don't want it looking like shit with age. So don't put it in that spot in the middle of your back that you can't reach :chuckles:
