Hahaha, win and irony in the same news story
The ironiy I saw is that the cops were called out for being corrupt, and are using public funds to track down and intimidate a citizen because the person in question used the USPS "to threaten, harass or intimidate" the cops.
Still not ironic. There's nothing corrupt or illegal about using public records to track down who is harassing them.
I believe that's ironic.
"to threaten, harass or intimidate," How is it this??? Someone have a guilty conscience?

I normally support the popo, but they should have much better things to do than this. It only reflects badly on the police department that they are making such a big deal out of this. They could have just laughed and chucked the plaques in the garbage, and it wouldn't have made any difference.
I hope this goes nowhere for the cops, or it goes to trial and the police lose badly. There is no implied threat or intimidation in these plaques, and if it's a one-time incident it shouldn't be deemed harrassment. If it does come from someone who has a history of harrassing officers (as implied by them having a suspect in mind), that's a different story.
