PS3 - 40 vs 80gb...
I may have to look into this.
Hmmm....from the research I've done now, the 80gb is being phased out (which I knew) and being replaced with a 120-160gb at the same price point, w the DualShock 3 controller. No date tho.
So if they are phasing out the 80gb, are they going to upgrade the 40gb to a larger size?(I'm guessing they might upgrade it to 60gb??
I have no drive to play Cock Band so 2 USB ports are fine for me. You can also fetch a USB expander for like $1 at a swap show or something like that.
BB has phased the 80gb out if I recall correctly.

Also, i'd get the most space i can out of my PS3 if i could. It's been recently reported that Devil May Cry 4 and Lost Planet both require 5GB of space on your Hard Drive. If you bought those 2 games that's 10GB gone right there. We dont even know how many other games are going to require that in the future.
Also, it's been reported too that BB and other retailers are pulling the 80GB version off the shelf in lieu of another one that hasn't been reported yet.
Nah, it's a pain in the ass. I was thinking about doing it myself but after reading the instructions it turned me off.

Worst case, i'll wait for the new one.
