A guy my fiance works with actually kind of did something like that. He took her out to dinner (the only decent part...except I forget whether it was even a nice restaurant). Anyway, after they finished their meal, he got out the ring box and slid it across the table and say "What do you think about getting married?"

First to the guys with gf's. Let's just say the girl you are with is the one; if you were to propose to your gf. What way would you do it realistically?
To guys that upgraded to wives, how did you propose to your lady?
No i'm not thinking about marriage. After reading about the chick who died about marriage. I looked it up which lead me to stories about wedding proposals and such forth and was wondering what you guys did or would do.
I have a few ideas, but i don't think they would fly over well with her. So i have to rethink it.

I tried with Janna. She would be the one i would propose to, but the sex change operation would make it hard for me to buy a ring for her
