I haven't build a computer in a while and definitely not a gaming computer

This is for the guy who wants to play COD4.

it comes out to 1033 before shipping and he'd like to stay under 1k so if some things can be changed that are of equal or better quality but cheaper holla :bigok:

That vid card can lock up pretty easy from my cousin's experience. : \

I have that video card in my work pc. I've only had it a week and I don't see how it would be great for gaming, because I'm not to happy with for just work.

would a 512mb 8800GTS be better than a 320mb 8800GTS?

If you wanted to cut the price a bit you could use the asus p5b motherboard and an intel core 2 duo. im using the P5b with a pentium 4, 150gig raptor drive, 3 gigs of ram, and a crappy vid card.

Ps the antec 900 is an awesome case. I love mine

one would make that assumption but double the bitrate plus the different chipset could make the 320 perform better. i don't know though so thats why im asking



i dropped it to 2gb and 250gb and got it to 1k even before shipping with the 320mb 8800GTS.

just need to know if this is a good card or should i get him to spend an extra or 40 bucks on a 512mb 8800gt...
