yea i caught that, but about that. you do have to pay some sort of taxes from the articles ive read. its not like just anyone gets the check. only people who pay income tax or social security tax in 07

you cant just have some dude on welfare get a check. its not working that way.

Welfare/unemployment funds are taxed so...yes they are.

i can make a 100k a year, share a house w/ 4 people.. and i'd have plenty of money left over. it all depends on how you define your wants/needs/requirements/ and expectations.
