Not sure how that would work though. If a cat got caught in the belt, wouldn't the car not start?
HA! That happened to my buddy's Acura CL, but it was a huge rat. :hs:

who says we dont have compassion for animals?? i love animals. a lot of us here apparently love animals and are pet owners. im not calling you a gay for wanting to look out for the cat. im calling you a gay for taking it so "serious" where you had to ask HAN for "advice/suggestions". LOL. use your fucking head and some common sense. thats all.

This happens a lot, I am surprised the cat is still alive because I am pretty sure he is an indoor cat and not used to the freezing temps. Right now it's about 28 degrees out. Should I confront the owner, or should I call animal control?

I just feel really bad for him.
First of all...

Get your nose out of other peoples business. I hate nosey ass neighbors

Anyways seriously the cat is fine and will be fine. I like how you say she leaves the cat outside all day and then worry because it is an indoor cat...wtf?

An animal has fur that grows thicker in the winter and they put on extra weight in order to insulate themselves more. The cat will be fine, my neighbor has 3 cats that stay outside all year round and they are healthy and fine in hot or cold weather.

Survival...it's what animals do.

yet a lot of homeless bums can.

there are WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY more animals outside than there are inside. if they really couldnt survive outside in the cold, then that means every winter the leftover animals have to reset and start recreating again? lol

By "serious" I meant it wasn't a joking around thread like most of the threads in the basement. I wasn't trying to imply that it was a dire issue, I just wanted serious advice aside from "Shoot it with a bb gun".
