Naw, still 1080i. 1080P is refered to the XA2 model I think. I don't think it's the FW limitation, but more like the processing chip.

I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it though. All of our tvs are older and I don't think it will make much of a difference on them. If it will be better I will keep it.
it is technically impossible for you to see a difference between the HD DVD and a regular DVD.
the HD DVD player will output at 480p ... or the same as an S-Video.
I also hope that buyers realize that this HD DVD player only outputs at 720p or 1080i.
