Ah, I didn't know. I though that was about the standard price but figured it was worth a post.

so you go out and buy an HD-DVD player thats on sale at a killer price and plan on trying to flilp it for a profit? you do realize that if you don't flip it right away that towards the end of the month all the other retailers are going to lower their prices and you'll have to return the dvd player for store credit. its not like getting a ps3 or 360 right when they came out and the demand was super high and the supplies were low.

:hi5:

any information > no information

The PS3 is once again going though a bundle / hardware change. It's getting pretty obnoxious.

Launch:
$499 20GB - no wifi, w. PS2 playback ("Emotion" Chip)
$599 60GB - wifi, w. PS2 playback ("Emotion" Chip)

June:
$449 20GB - no wifi, w. PS2 playback ("Emotion" Chip)
$499 60GB - wifi, w. PS2 playback ("Emotion" Chip)
$599 80GB - wifi, w. PS2 playback (software emulated)

October :
$399 40GB - wifi, no PS2 playback
$499 60GB - wifi, w. PS2 playback ("Emotion" Chip)
$599 80GB - wifi, w. PS2 playback (software emulated)

The constantly shifting price points and hardware setups are screwy. There are 3 versions on the shelf today, all with different guts.

There is no issue returning at wal-mart if it doesn't sell. Even if I get a $300 store credit, not a big deal by any means. I probably spend that there anyway each month h:
