Holiday Vaca plans...
i'm sorry but anyone who thinks that since they skateboarded they are going to have a easy time snowboarding is sadly mistaken. it helps, but it doesnt mean you are going to be any better than the guy next to you just starting.
aside from the fact you ride on a piece of wood there are no similarities.
strapped in vs on shoes
wheels vs snow
2 ft long vs 4-5 ft long
flatland vs heavy inclines
it helps a lil in the regards of balance, and thats it.
i've been on the snow since i was 5, and snowboarding since i was 11 ... and when i step on a skateboard i def dont find it any easier

i tend to have an opinion on everything

i will say though i usually have personal experience or some factual base when i spout off.
this topic though i has personal experience ... all my friends use to say the same thing "shit i can skate so i know i can board" ... so i figured hell the opposite must be true ... it's not :hs:
won't forget tryin to teach this girl two years ago ... had her completely comfortable on flatland and the rope tow hill ... says shes ready for something more challenging. we go down the easiest hill and im a lil infront of her going backwards so i can watch her and advise
yea she wasnt ready ... face first into a fence because she brain farted on how to slow down and stop. i yelled for her to just fall but that didnt work
i had to unstrap and climb up the hill cuz she was just laying there, i get there and go "what happened". she has this dazed look and just goes "i couldnt remember how to stop"
