since most of my network was down the last 2 hours i just planned out how i'm using the rest of my vacation / what i'm doing for the holidays:

Nov 13-19 : deer season, state holiday

Thanksgiving: shit outta luck, prolly drive to my aunts the night before, spend the day with them having fun, drive back thanksgiving night for work the next AM.:wtc:

Christmas Time: Head for the parents on the 21st, work half day from pops office on the 24th, work 3 hours on the 26th, take the 27th and 28th off, take the 31st off, work for 2 hours on the 2nd, drive back to my office downstate and then work rest of day from the office. what a shitty trip :hs:

anyone else know their holiday plans yet?

 

that is the worst. I worked retail for 4 years ... for those 4 years, the day after Thanksgiving would ruin my holiday.



Nov. 18 - 21: Las Vegas
Nov. 22: Thanksgiving - not much planned here except family time in front of the TV
Nov. 23: Black Friday - ?

 

Hmm. I have 4 vacation days that I have to use by January 10, 2008.

- we don't get paid for the day after Thanksgiving :down:
- Christmas & New Years are on Tuesdays, so of course we have to work the Monday before :down:

Right now it looks like I'm going to take December 26-28 and the 31st off. :hs:

 

My family is going on a cruise the week of new years...without me Need to think of stuff to do.

I've lived here all my life and never understood why those morons would stand outside for 8-10hrs just to watch a ball drop.
