So does anyone have a iphone?
i would put money down that 3G will be up and running in under a year. i've had my current phone for almost 15 months ... and dont plan on changing it for another 6 or so. You asked why i thought the 3G support was big? because i wouldnt be getting a new phone until after i believe 3G is already out in the market and why not be pro-active and get a phone now with 3G support so the day it does turn on i'm ready rather than waiting another 6 months to a year for a new phone?
when true 3G gets turned on it will instantly be faster than EDGE. T-mobile caps theirs at 2Mb ... thats well above EDGE, so if they turn it on in the US i'm goign to assume it will be at 2Mb ... common sense

yeah I dont get why they didnt put this feature in... I agree that it should've been a priority
15 months current ownership + 6 months before i'm ready for new = 21 months ... just shy of 2 years. thats how long i will have had current phone
3G will be hitting in under a year by my opinion ... that means when i purchase my new phone within the next 6 months ... i will be getting something with 3G coverage.
i'm pretty sure i'm not being at all wishy-washy.

what I meant to say, I consider 3g to be the new technologies coming out that will be sporting higher speeds. You can classify edge as 3g but when the new techs come out, it won't compete. You know what i mean?
