JESUS CHRIST

thats what i fucking said!!!! true 3G isnt there yet, but we are close as in within a year. why spend 400 on a phone that you plan on having for most likely a year that cant utilize the tech on the horizon. its not like they cant make phones with 3g capability! they are already, so they should have done it. it increases the phones life span if it can utilize technology on the horizon.

i might not have 3g today ... but why does that mean i cant get a phone with the capability now so tommorow when it turns on and i still have that phone i'm ready?

It's fucking $400 for a phone thats only real thing going for it is it looks fucking cool. great grand, i got a cool looking phone, but guess what, i cant do all the shit these other people with $400 phones can unless i hack it, and then once i do i'm fucked if i try and update it... gee that seems absolutely brilliant

Fucking shit tark ... again you are not listening!!!

i'm not bitching that we don't have it, i'm saying who the fuck pays that amount of money for a phone when models in comparitive price ranges have the technology to utilize 3g already implanted?

3G is coming. and when it gets here everyone who is on EDGE or EVDO will want true 3G ... and every person with the iphone will be shit outta luck but me with my $300 3G smartphone that is carrier swappable with no problems will be laughin at you going out to get a new phone.

everything about 3G is superior, expense is the only thing holding it back and in less than a year its going to be here.

those who dont prepare are doomed to failure. i'm not spending half a paycheck on a phone that doesnt support soon to be standard technology.

t-mobile is actually running true 3g they just have brought it to their North America market yet. It will be here shortly.

theres no real programs out there that utilizes dual processors in pc's but people want it. why? because next year they dont want to have to go out and replace everything so buy the next level of tech now.

And what i am saying is you change your cell phone every 2-3 years and by the time that 3G will actually be affordable and running a full speed or to a speed that is significantly faster then what edge CAN do you will have changed you phone.

i would put money down that 3G will be up and running in under a year. i've had my current phone for almost 15 months ... and dont plan on changing it for another 6 or so. You asked why i thought the 3G support was big? because i wouldnt be getting a new phone until after i believe 3G is already out in the market and why not be pro-active and get a phone now with 3G support so the day it does turn on i'm ready rather than waiting another 6 months to a year for a new phone?

when true 3G gets turned on it will instantly be faster than EDGE. T-mobile caps theirs at 2Mb ... thats well above EDGE, so if they turn it on in the US i'm goign to assume it will be at 2Mb ... common sense
