My teacher asked us this in my social problems class and no one knew the correct answer.
read that.

i simply was asking a question.

i will word it differently.

your driving down a road and the speed limit is 45MPH. its about 12o'clock noon and clear out side. you look down the road and notice the speed limit sign about 300 feet inhead of you says 55.

so can you go 55mph once you seen the sign or ONLY when you pass it?

I read it. You insinuated that I was wrong when I said you can't go 55 until you physically pass the sign and then I asked you to post proof otherwise. What's there to be confused about?

Legally, you can not go 46 until you pass the 55mph sign since you are in a 45mph zone. By that token, obviously you can't go 55 either.

You're driving down a road reading 10 mph. The road is perfectly straight, the weather is clear and you can see that bit down the road the speed limit is then 55, due to a huge ass sign. Yeah, you can go 55 then.

Yeah.. Not really.

Zone is a physical description, not a perceived visual description. Any time you're talking about zones, areas, physical sizes of properties, etc you're talking about a virtual line drawn on the ground. You're not talking about "seeing."

You said everyone got it wrong. So what did the teacher say the right answer is? Did the teacher provide proven facts?

Whether you called me out or not, I said "when you pass the sign" and you said "100% sure about that?" I read that as an insinuation that I was incorrect.

Your teacher is a fucking idiot.

How could he; 1) Ask a question he doesn't know the answer to and 2) Say everyone is wrong if he doesn't know the answer?
