When I was 19 I got real depressed when my first "real" girlfriend dumped me on our 2 year anniversary. The whole "I'll never love again thing."
Over the next few months, I dropped from 185lbs to 165lbs, and my GPA went from 3.65 to 3.05. I was never in a "I want to kill myself" state, but I was pretty lethargic and didn't want to eat anything.

Since then I've had funks, one pretty recently lasting a few monts, but nothing that serious.

have your dad die from lung cancer on sunday & your 5-year old daughter die on that thursday of an undiagnosed defective heart valve & then a week later her mother take a bottle of pills & goto sleep.....then fucking tell me that
REAL depression is something that can't really be explained till you've experienced it. sometimes the pain is just too much & you just want the pain to stop.....by whatever means necessary

wow, this thread really brings out the sadness.
Sorry to hear that man.
But back on topic, I've been like that, so depressed that I turned crazy and did stupid things. Now I've regret the things I've done.
