Your Xbox live handle turns into another chat account basically.
- your friends will leave messages
- they'll attempt to radio you in
- invite you into matches
which is great ... then you have some noob which isn't you behind the controls.
i remember when i first got xbox live ... we would use our accounts if we wanted to talk to friends and didnt wanna waste minutes on our phones. just shoot a quick IM tellin em to get on, then you could talk like you were on the phone. it was great
the rough thing is, the XBL login is much like an AIM SN. When you're gone, the people who are used to locating you will automatically assume that you're playing.
You'd never share your AIM SN or email account. Same privacy theories here.
my roommates were as good if not better than me at most of the games I played so I didn't mind h: Also they shared the same network of friends and were in the same clans online as I was, so if they wanted to use my account cause they forgot to pay theirs I didn't give a crap h:
