A big emphasis on Halo is the idea of balance. You can't chuck in a super bomb or something without thinking about it. You'll completely trash the game play.

When you break it down, see the detailing in the maps, see the creative thought that goes into the layouts, it's quite amazing.

I'm sure they'll add new modes of play. Toss in a new feature like that, you've completely thrown all previous strategy out the door and will have to work on a new one. (As a player that is)

and I am not saying it won't be a fun game, but the amount of hype around it just doesn't compute.

Halo 2 grossed 1 billion in sales. That's more than the Matrix Trilogy combined at the box office.

Halo has gone beyond gaming and is a huge factor in the entertainment business as a whole. You have movie studios adjusting their release schedules knowing that their target demographic will be busy with something else. Same goes with the music industry.

duuude. You'd better get a $20 copy of Halo 2 and get used to how it is before the 25th.

Well i put it like this...why mess up something that's already great. Meaning, every zelda game is essentially the same, yet you always look forward to plating it, why, because it's just an awesome game.`

that's not the point I am arguing. I am well aware of the hype and selling power of "Halo" as a name brand. I guess I just never really got THAT into the game to be pissing my pants over yet another release of re-graphics'd halo.
