Xbox One Crew w. big enises ... Halo MCC HYPE THREAD! (est. 2007)
I think I mentioned to some that I recently found a very first generation Xbox 360 (Zephyr) at the GoodWill Store for $12. I powered it up to find out that it was RRoD'd. Here's my next XBox adventure ...
Arctic Silver thermal paste + component cleaner + new hardware

2nd generation VPU heatsink

If this works, I have an Elite that needs repair. In theory, that'll make 5 360's at my house.
1. Arcade - 65nm video, 65nm cpu - Halo adapter.
2. Premium - 80nm video, 65nm cpu - modded to run DVD-R DL discs (purchased from James on the boards)
3. Halo 3 edition - 80nm video, 65nm cpu - modded to run DVD-R DL discs (purchased from Anthony on the boards)
4. Elite - 90nm, 90nm - needs repair
5. Arcade - 90nm, 90nm - needs repair

I'm thinking about modding that GoodWill Xbox and giving it to my brother if all goes well.
I'll let ya know how it goes on that machine. (The previous Xbox done has a completely different flashing process)
