Xbox One Crew w. big enises ... Halo MCC HYPE THREAD! (est. 2007)
i tried it at lunch. it's ok. you can't use the addon voice packs, because you need a higher version, but you can still customize the voice. the hard part is getting it to sound right without it sounding like a robot or little kid.
So explain your setup...
You have your mic going to in Mic In on your sound card, then the Audio Out of your PC going to the Mic IN on your controller?
the nice thing about this program is that you can turn it on or off with a hotkey. the other one i was using could turn it off, but not easily without seeing what you're doing. you just have to remember if it's on or not because you can't hear yourself. there's ways to make it so you can hear yourself, but it doesn't work as well. the sound is a little bit delayed, so that can throw you off when you're actually talking. i've just decided that if i'm gonna use it, i have to set it up beforehand and leave it alone while actually using it.
yep. my computer has the ports on the front, so it makes it a little bit easier. the audio out is actually a headphones port on the computer. you can have different programs output to different devices, so i have that program always outputting to headphones. then in the program, you have to make sure "listen" is turned on otherwise no sound will come out.

Nice. Where did you get the adapters? Are the mic adapters Stereo or Mono?
I can't seem to get audio from the headset to the PC.
if you're just talking in the mic and trying to hear yourself, in the windows sound settings you have to turn on the "listen". if you're doing it through the program, the listen has to be on in that.
also, i've noticed that you have to have all the adapters and stuff hooked up and then the last thing to do is plug it into the computer. mine doesn't recognize the mic if i plug the extension in and the plug the mic into that.
